Our beloved yellow lab whelped 9 puppies on Sunday October 13. There are 2 male yellows, 1 female yellow, 4 male blacks, 2 female blacks. The puppies will be ready for their new homes after the first week of December (not too long before Christmas).
This yellow female will be going to Wisconsin. The black one is going to stay with us. Our puppy is going to be named Nuna (pronounced noo-nah) and means earth (or tundra) in Inupiaq Eskimo. The yellow one is tentatively cyclone until the little boys that will be making her part of their family come up with a name.
